Another week has gone by and it’s a hot summer here in KC. This weather has me dreaming of being back in the South of France with the sea breeze and fresh fish, just caught and drenched and lemon.  When days are hot and work is long, all I want to do is be back on holiday. I’m sure you can agree.

To take my mind off of that experience, which is hard to do, I cook. So lately I have been cooking up a storm and I cannot wait to share my summer recipes, including a few summer cocktails coming straight to you from the Costa Brava and the Cote d’Azur!

If you need some wanderfully European inspired recipes for this weekend, check back through the blog for inspiration. My Pappardelle pasta is so easy to make and just light enough to eat in the summer. If you want something in season, make these Zucchini Fritters which are so delicious you won’t be able to eat just one!

Dessert? My Creme Caramel or Chocolate Coulant are crowd pleasers or you can make one just for yourself if you don’t feel like sharing…

Curl up with a comedy, pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy! If you make anything this weekend, please tag your photos with #wanderfullifestyle! I’d love to see what you create!
